Cross Bite
What is a crossbite?
One dental problem that can influence how your teeth align is called a crossbite. When your mouth is closed or at rest, the primary indicator that you have a crossbite is that your upper teeth fit behind your lower teeth. Both the front and back teeth in your mouth may be affected by this.
A crossbite is more than simply a visual issue. An continuous crossbite in adulthood can result in further symptoms.
These signs could consist of:
- Jaw soreness
- trouble pronouncing words or making particular sounds
- Soreness in your shoulder, neck, and jaw muscles
